Who Are We?
Riverside Grammar is an educational support service for young people seeking a personalised learning experience. With the aim of providing a more entrepreneurial and individualised program than mainstream education providers offer. Riverside Grammar was founded by award winning educator and teacher Dr Jon Carnegie (D. Ed., B. Ed., Dip. Youth Work).
Maintaining a small cohort at Riverside, enables staff to work individually with each student and their families to establish their specific social, emotional and educational goals and explore their interests. By approaching education from the perspective of the individual and addressing the individual’s needs and interests, it encourages them to explore their curiosities and discover their own unique talents.
At Riverside, we’re passionate about providing young people, who have struggled to fit within the mainstream education system, with a flexible environment to support them in completing their high school education.
